REGISTRATION

VRCP was created to fulfill the need for quality and convenient care for school - aged children (K – Grade 6) at École Vickers Public School before and after each school day. In 2008, the Before & After School Program for École Vickers Public School began - the first program of its kind to operate within the city of Prince Albert and surrounding area.

Returning Families

We would like to begin by thanking our families for your cooperation during this school year. Planning is now underway for the 2024-25 school year. If you wish to continue with VRCP for the 2024-25 school year, please see below regarding the registration process.  
 
If you are re-registering your child(ren) who is currently enrolled for the 2023-24 year (and/or adding a sibling that will be new to the program), you must register and submit payment information before April 30th, 2024.
 
Registration process:

  • Complete the attached registration form.

  • Please visit your bank or sign in to your online banking and print a direct withdrawal/direct deposit form and attach to your registration. The monthly amount will be debited from your account on the 1st of each month.

  • The $25 membership fee will be withdrawn on September 1st, 2024.

  • Please return the registration package and withdrawal form to the program attention:

    • Program Supervisor, between April 18th - April 29th, 2024. Please call/text the program phone at 306-940-6601 when sending the registration package so the workers can make sure to collect it.

 
For parents/guardians who miss the April 30th, 2024 deadline, your child’s spot will be given to another family.  The school is collecting a list of families who are interested in a spot at the program.  All interested families will be entered into a draw and awarded at the Annual General Meeting. The Annual General Meeting will be held in person at Ecole Vickers School in the library on May 6th, 2024.

New Families

Thank you for choosing VRCP for the care of your child(ren). All families that are currently registered for the 2024-25 year, have until April 30th, 2024 to secure or give up their spot(s) for the 2024-25 school year. Once we know how many available spots we have, new registrations will be contacted. If the registrations exceed the available spots, a lottery will be held at the AGM on May 6th, 2024 to determine who will occupy the open spots.  
 
Registration process:

  • Complete the attached registration form.

  • Contact Program Supervisor to arrange drop off of the completed form at vickersrcp@gmail.com or 306-960-3308.

  • If registrations exceed the available spots, the new registrations will be decided at the lottery which will take place at the AGM and new families then notified. Date of meeting is May 6th, 2024.

  • Once your spot(s) are confirmed, we ask that you please visit your bank or sign into your online banking and print a direct withdrawal/direct deposit form and attach to your registration or contact Program Supervisor to arrange dropping off that form. The monthly amount will be debited from your account on the 1st of each month.

  • The $25 membership fee will be withdrawn on September 1st, 2024.

The PLC days for 2023-24, which we are able to open VRCP are October 6th, January 29th and April 22nd. Parents/guardians can register their child(ren) to come and the cost is $30/child. Your child must be registered at least one week in advance so we can staff accordingly. Payment will be automatically withdrawn from account.
